Q&A in December 17th -18th:gun tier is a completely arbitrary number


17.12.2012 cont.

  - no plans to make the crews "remember" previous tanks (not even for gold)

  - no plans to introduce armored cars.

  - Panzer I won't come in near future.

  - it's possible that Vickers (Mk. VI) light tank will be introduced.

  - no plans to introduce the Vickers Mk.I and Mk.II CS tanks (howitzers).

  - no plans to arm (new) Russian low tier tanks with heavy machineguns.

  - no plans to introduce smokescreens yet, because of technical issues (too requiring).

  - gun tier is a completely arbitrary number, it's possible to designate a tier 9 gun as tier 12 without changing any characteristics.

  - Q: "Why do you rework only 4 maps per patch?" A: "Because one would be too little".

  - according to SerB, the 25 percent damage randomization represents real life random factors influencing each shot (won't get changed).

  - a new server is being prepared.

  - an improvement in the game voice chat is planned.

  - track armor ranges from 10mm to 60mm on average.

  - tracks don't make the shell lose its pen value.

  - track armor doesn't get thicker when you install new suspension.

  - when it comes to modules, their repair costs amount and their tier are not directly linked.
